Excellent Dentist Surgery. Sarah-Jane and John are exceptional Dentists. I am currently having a crown fitted and previously I have had an implant , wisdom teeth extracted and fillings done without any problems at all and minimal pain.I totally trust them to take care of my teeth. Sue on reception is friendly, knowledgeable and helpful and Harry and Amy the hygienists are also excellent.Posted on Google

The practice itself is modern, pristine, and very comfortable. They take the time to explain everything clearly and provide top-tier care. My tooth implant was done to a very high standard and I’m extremely happy with the results. I also had other dental treatments carried out, all of which were handled with great care. B Adams30 April 2026I rarely leave reviews however after visiting this dental practice with my 9 year old son I feel I must share this experience with anyone who is looking for a place that cares!!! Our son was worried on arrival due to a fear of an X ray. On arrival reception was so welcoming, the offer of coffee at 9.45 was welcomed!! Our son loved the fish! When it was his turn to be seen, he was obviously a little nervous but John (our dentist) soon changed this, he radiated professionalism and connected with our 9 yr old, and explained every step to him. We believed the x ray was going to be like others of which our little man struggled with! He just would not let previous dentists put the x ray film in his mouth resulting in no images!! NO ISSUE At HILL TOP as they have a revolving camera that needs no big film in mouth just a little plate that you bite on!!! Truly game changing for little mouths! Less than one week later we have a diagnosis and a firm plan moving forward for a little complication. I would say if anyone reading this and have children nervous please reassure them there are good dentists out there!!! I really cannot thank the practice enough, I can only imagine all the other services are run in such an amazing fashion. Keep it up! And it’s so refreshing to find a business that cares!!!Posted on Google
Joanne Oliver22 April 2026This dentist practice is excellent. Sue on reception is helpful, informative and nothing is too much trouble. Harry the hygienist is first class as well. He does a thorough job of checking my teeth and mouth before he even starts cleaning them. I used to hate going to the hygienist but with Harry it is pain free. I have been going to John for a few years now and have had fillings done, extractions, wisdom teeth removed and an implant done. I trust him completely with my teeth. I have never been to a better dentist! My husband and elderly Mum both go to John as well and they have the same opinion.Posted on Google

All of the team are kind and courteous and as a nervous patient, I highly recommend them. The practice is clean and modern with high quality equipment. My husband sees John, and I have seen Sarah-Jayne and both of them provided excellent patient care. Their support team is great too and juggle a busy practice with care and consideration. Wendy Wrate14 March 2026I’m an extremely nervous patient and had difficulty finding somebody who would give me sedation without trying to talk me out of it. I found Hilltop dentistry. At our first meeting there was no discussion as to whether or not I should have sedation , the fact that I’d asked for it and I was medically fit to have it was enough. The dentist John was gentle and kind and after my first checkup and I had no hesitation in booking an appointment to have the treatment I needed .It is the perfect place for a nervous patient. As soon as you arrive, Sue, the receptionist welcomes you with a lovely smile and immediately puts you at ease. John and Sarah Jayne the Partners, both do sedation . Impossible to share the relief I felt finding such a wonderful , professional and caring team.Posted on Google

darren eckton10 March 2026Good morning all, this dentist practice saved my teeth and smile and a large part of my sanity way back in 2002 when I was running out of dentists to try, I understand you shouldn’t let one poor service experience affect you but it can and does, The people here have been nothing other then supportive and focused on my requirements and continue to do so, although the team has changed over the years (thankyou Wendy) their new faces and great smiles and enthusiasm makes every visit both calm and pleasant, I’m terribly poor on name retention but from the front desk to the great people around the big chairs I can only thank If in doubt at any time just ask or sayPosted on Google

I see Jane who is very caring and explains what she is doing and takes the time to go through her findings. Never have I felt rushed or unwelcome. They’re very gentle during treatment—I barely felt any pain—and always professional and attentive.
